Policy
Purpose and Importance
The Safety and Disposal Policy establishes how Mongold Junk Removal maintains a safe, responsible, and environmentally conscious work environment. This policy ensures that all services are performed according to legal standards, industry best practices, and company safety procedures. It exists to protect our crew, our customers, and the environment while maintaining the professionalism and reliability that define our company.

Policy Statement
Mongold Junk Removal performs all work with the highest commitment to safety and lawful disposal. Our team follows all applicable city, county, and state regulations governing waste handling, recycling, and transport. Every crew member is responsible for maintaining a safe work site and ensuring that items are disposed of or recycled responsibly at approved facilities.

Crew and Job Site Safety
-
Safety Training:
All crew members receive regular safety training covering lifting techniques, protective equipment use, equipment operation, and job site awareness. -
Protective Gear:
Proper safety gear (gloves, boots, high-visibility clothing, and masks when needed) must be worn at all times during loading, transport, and disposal. -
On-Site Hazards:
Before work begins, the crew will inspect the site for potential hazards such as unstable flooring, sharp debris, exposed wiring, or unsafe stacking.-
Unsafe areas may be cordoned off or refused for service until corrected.
-
-
Safe Lifting and Equipment Use:
Crews must use proper lifting form and equipment such as dollies, straps, or ramps when handling heavy or bulky items.-
No employee may lift items beyond their ability or attempt unsafe maneuvers that risk injury or property damage.
-
-
Vehicle Safety:
Trucks and trailers must be loaded securely to prevent shifting or loss of materials during transport. Loads must be covered or strapped according to DOT safety requirements.

Customer and Property Safety
-
Customers should maintain a safe distance while work is performed and keep all pets and bystanders away from the work zone.
-
Mongold Junk Removal is not responsible for accidents or injuries that occur if customers enter active work zones or interfere with lifting or loading activities.
-
Crews are instructed to report any unsafe or aggressive behavior, environmental hazards, or structural issues immediately to management.

Disposal Standards
-
Approved Facilities:
All waste, debris, and recyclables will be transported only to licensed and approved disposal or recycling facilities. -
Recycling and Diversion:
Whenever possible, recyclable materials such as metal, cardboard, or clean wood are separated and delivered to recycling centers to reduce landfill waste. -
Donations and Resale:
Usable items in good condition may be donated, repurposed, or resold through approved local outlets or company-managed resale channels.-
Items are selected for resale based on condition, safety, and marketability.
-
Reselling recovered items helps offset disposal costs and supports Mongold Junk Removal’s ability to offer lower, more affordable pricing to customers.
-
Items identified for resale are handled, stored, and marketed in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
-
-
Prohibited Dumping:
Illegal dumping, unauthorized disposal, or abandonment of waste is strictly prohibited. Any employee found violating this standard will be subject to immediate termination. -
Load Documentation:
Crews are required to obtain and retain disposal receipts or digital confirmations for each dump, recycling, donation, or resale load as proof of lawful handling.

Environmental Commitment
-
Mongold Junk Removal strives to minimize environmental impact by diverting reusable and recyclable materials whenever possible.
-
Vehicles are maintained regularly to reduce emissions, leaks, and mechanical failures that could affect environmental safety.
-
All disposal operations must comply with local, state, and federal environmental laws.
-
The company supports continued improvement of sustainability practices through partnerships with local donation centers, recycling vendors, and environmental programs.

Accident and Incident Reporting
-
Any job site injury, accident, or property damage must be reported to management immediately, followed by written documentation within 24 hours.
-
The company will investigate all incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective action.
-
Serious or repeat safety violations may result in disciplinary action, retraining, or termination.
