Pet Policy
Purpose and Importance
The Pet Policy exists to protect the safety of all pets, customers, and crew members during junk removal and hauling services. Animals can become frightened or reactive to noise, movement, or unfamiliar people.
This policy ensures a safe, stress-free experience for both pets and people while allowing our team to work efficiently and without risk of injury or accidental escape.

Policy Statement
Mongold Junk Removal requires that all pets be properly secured and kept away from active work areas before and during service. Our crews may enter homes, garages, and outdoor areas with equipment and large items, which can create sudden noises or movement that may startle animals. To prevent injury, stress, or accidental escape, pets must be confined to a separate room, kennel, or secure outdoor area until the job is complete.

Customer Responsibilities
-
Secure All Pets Before Arrival:
Customers must secure all pets indoors, outdoors, or in a designated safe area prior to the crew’s arrival. -
Disclose Pet Presence:
Customers should notify Mongold Junk Removal during scheduling if pets will be present on-site, particularly dogs, cats, or animals with free-range access. -
Restrain Aggressive or Reactive Pets:
If a pet has a history of aggressive behavior, the customer must ensure that it is securely restrained or removed from the property before service begins. -
Outdoor Access Points:
Gates, fences, and enclosures must remain closed during service to prevent animals from escaping.

Crew Procedures
-
No Contact Rule:
Crew members are not permitted to pet, feed, or handle any animals while on-site. -
Work Suspension:
If an unsecured pet enters the work area or poses a safety concern, the crew will pause service until the animal is secured. -
Animal Safety First:
Under no circumstance will a crew member attempt to chase, confine, or move a pet. If an animal appears at risk, the customer will be informed immediately. -
Notification to Customer:
Crews will communicate any delays caused by unsecured pets and document the situation for transparency.

Liability and Limitations
-
Mongold Junk Removal is not responsible for injury, escape, or harm to pets resulting from the animal being left unsecured during service.
-
The company is also not liable for any pet damage to property, crew, or equipment that occurs due to customer negligence in securing animals.
-
Services may be delayed or rescheduled if pets cannot be safely secured at the time of arrival.
-
Additional time spent waiting for pet containment may be subject to a Wait Time Fee (see Wait Time and Access Delay Policy).

Professional Conduct
-
All Mongold Junk Removal employees are expected to maintain professionalism, use appropriate language, and show respect to every customer and property.
-
Customers are also expected to treat crew members with respect and maintain a safe, cooperative environment while work is performed.
-
Any behavior that threatens safety, involves harassment, or disrupts the work environment may result in immediate termination of the service.

Right to Refuse Service
-
Mongold Junk Removal reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service under the following conditions:
-
Unsafe property or working environment
-
Discovery of prohibited or hazardous materials
-
Excessive pest or biohazard contamination
-
Non-payment, fraudulent information, or customer misconduct
-
Circumstances that violate company policy, law, or safety guidelines
-
In such cases, a minimum service fee may still apply if travel or labor time has occurred.

Policy Enforcement
This policy applies to all residential and commercial service locations where animals are present.
Failure to secure pets or comply with crew safety requests may result in service interruption, rescheduling, or cancellation with applicable fees.
Mongold Junk Removal reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if an animal’s behavior or presence creates an unsafe environment for the crew.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in company procedures or animal safety guidelines. The current version of this policy is always available upon request or on the company’s website.
