Appointment and Access Policy
Purpose and Importance
The Appointment and Access Policy ensures that all Mongold Junk Removal services are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This policy clarifies how appointments are scheduled, what customers can expect on service day, and what responsibilities customers have to provide safe and reasonable access to the job site. By maintaining clear communication and access standards, we help prevent delays, protect property, and ensure every job is completed smoothly.

Policy Statement
Mongold Junk Removal operates by appointment only. All customers must schedule service in advance, provide accurate contact and location information, and ensure that safe access to the service area is available at the agreed time. The company reserves the right to delay, reschedule, or refuse service if access is unsafe or unavailable.

Scheduling and Arrival Windows

Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis according to crew and route availability.

Customers receive an estimated two-hour arrival window when scheduling. This window is based on prior route completion and traffic conditions.

If delays occur, the customer will be notified as soon as possible by call or text message.

Appointments may be adjusted to accommodate weather, traffic, or unforeseen operational circumstances, and every effort will be made to minimize disruptions.

Customer Responsibilities for Access

The customer must ensure clear, safe, and legal access to the property and all areas where work is to be performed.

Driveways, gates, and paths must be free from obstructions such as parked vehicles, locked gates, debris, or snow.

Someone 18 years of age or older must be present to authorize work unless prior arrangements for unattended service have been made in writing.

If access is restricted or unsafe at the time of arrival, the crew may wait up to 15 minutes before departing. Idle time beyond that may result in an access delay fee or a reschedule fee.

The company is not responsible for lost time or rescheduling delays caused by incorrect addresses, gate codes, or incomplete instructions.

Property Access and Safety

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all areas are safe for crew entry. This includes verifying the stability of stairs, flooring, decks, and outdoor surfaces.

Pets should be secured indoors or in a separate area for the safety of both the animal and the crew.

Mongold Junk Removal reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if property conditions are hazardous or unsafe to enter.

The crew is not permitted to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, or access attics or roofs unless prior approval has been granted by management and appropriate safety measures are in place.

Access Delay and Rescheduling

If the crew cannot begin work within 15 minutes of arrival due to blocked access, locked gates, or unsafe conditions, an idle time charge of $25 per 15-minute interval may apply.

If access remains unavailable or unsafe after 30 minutes, the job may be rescheduled or canceled at the company’s discretion, and a minimum service charge may apply.

Rescheduled jobs will be prioritized on the next available route, subject to availability.

Unattended Service

Customers who wish to have service completed while they are away must provide written consent along with clear directions for access and payment arrangements.

The company will take before-and-after photos of the work area for documentation and liability purposes.

Unattended jobs are considered final once the crew departs, and any disputes regarding item selection or service scope will be reviewed at the company’s discretion.

Policy Enforcement

Failure to comply with the Appointment and Access Policy may result in additional fees, service delays, or cancellation. Mongold Junk Removal retains the right to modify or update this policy as needed to ensure safety, fairness, and operational efficiency. The most current version of this policy will be made available on the company’s website or upon customer request.
