The Hauling and Delivery Policy defines Mongold Junk Removal’s procedures for safely transporting items between locations. This policy ensures that all hauling and delivery services are performed responsibly, with clear expectations for what is included, how items are handled, and what limitations apply.

These guidelines protect both our customers and our crew during transport services that extend beyond traditional junk removal.

Policy Statement

Mongold Junk Removal offers limited hauling and delivery services for customers needing assistance moving items from one location to another. This includes, but is not limited to, transferring belongings between storage units, relocating household or office furniture, or delivering items purchased or sold locally. Our hauling services are designed for convenience and short-distance transport, not full-service moving.

All hauling and delivery jobs are performed with care, efficiency, and transparency in pricing.

Included Services

Hauling and delivery may include:

Local Transport:
Short-distance delivery or transfer of items within our defined service area.
Item Loading and Unloading:
Standard loading and unloading of items at ground level or accessible entry points.
Securing Cargo:
Proper use of tie-downs, straps, or padding to stabilize items during transport.
Optional Sorting and Placement:
Upon request, crews may help place items in designated areas at the destination location.
Basic Coverage:
Careful handling of items within reasonable limits of safe manual labor practices.

Additional Fees May Apply

The following situations may result in additional charges based on the nature, location, or conditions of the job.

All applicable fees are outlined in the corresponding company policies, including the Additional Fees Policy, Stairs and Difficult Access Policy, and Mission Conditions and Additional Charges Policy.

Additional fees may apply for:

Stairs, steep terrain, or limited-access conditions
Heavy or oversized items requiring extra crew or equipment
Long-distance travel or delivery beyond the standard service area
After-hours scheduling, delays, or extended time on-site
Addition of extra crew members beyond the standard team
Hazardous or unsafe worksite conditions requiring additional coordination
Any other conditions requiring extra time, equipment, or manpower

All charges are reviewed and disclosed before or during service whenever possible.

Not Included

The following services are not included in Mongold Junk Removal’s standard hauling and delivery offerings:

Full-service residential or business moving
Long-distance or interstate transport
Disassembly or reassembly of furniture or equipment
Packing, wrapping, or provision of protective materials
Transport of hazardous, restricted, or biohazardous materials
Delivery of live animals, perishable items, or temperature-sensitive materials

Mongold Junk Removal reserves the right to decline any request that exceeds the scope of standard hauling services or presents safety concerns.

Customer Responsibilities

Preparation:
Customers are responsible for ensuring all items are packed, disconnected, and ready for transport before the crew’s arrival.
Disclosure:
Customers must inform Mongold Junk Removal of any fragile, high-value, or oversized items before scheduling service.
Clear Access:
All pickup and delivery locations must have safe, unobstructed access for loading and unloading.
Supervision:
A customer or authorized representative must be present at both pickup and drop-off locations to confirm item count and condition.
Prohibited Items:
Hazardous materials, fuel containers, biohazards, and restricted items cannot be transported under this service.

Service Limitations

Hauling and delivery services are intended for short-distance transport, not household or business relocation.
Mongold Junk Removal is not a licensed moving company and does not offer disassembly, reassembly, or long-haul moving.
Items are transported at the customer’s risk, with reasonable care taken during loading, transport, and unloading.
The company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural weaknesses, or hidden defects in transported items.

Liability and Coverage

Mongold Junk Removal exercises care and caution when handling all transported items. However, due to the nature of hauling services:

The company’s liability is limited to damages resulting from proven negligence during transport.
Mongold Junk Removal is not responsible for surface scratches, minor dents, or cosmetic wear resulting from normal handling.
Customers are encouraged to move fragile or high-value items independently or with a licensed mover.
No valuation coverage or replacement value insurance is provided.

Pricing

All hauling and delivery services are billed at flat rates based on item type, distance, and labor requirements. Pricing is determined using load size, travel distance, and difficulty of access.
Customers will receive a written estimate before service.

Payment is due upon job completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Policy Enforcement

This policy applies to all hauling, transport, and delivery jobs performed by Mongold Junk Removal. Failure to disclose access limitations, item conditions, or restricted materials may result in additional fees or refusal of service.

Mongold Junk Removal reserves the right to revise this policy to comply with updated safety standards or regulatory requirements.
