Purpose and Importance
The Returned and Delinquent Payments Policy ensures that all payments to Mongold Junk Removal are completed successfully and on time. This policy provides clear expectations for customers regarding returned payments, declined transactions, and overdue balances while outlining the steps the company takes to recover unpaid amounts in a fair and professional manner.

Policy Statement
Mongold Junk Removal relies on timely payments to maintain scheduling, disposal operations, and employee compensation. Any returned, declined, or delinquent payments create unnecessary administrative costs and service delays. This policy establishes standard procedures and applicable fees for handling non-sufficient funds (NSF), declined transactions, and late payments.

Insufficient Funds (NSF) or Returned Checks:
A $35 Returned Payment Fee will be applied to any payment that is declined or returned due to insufficient funds, closed accounts, or incorrect information. -
Credit or Debit Card Declines:
If a credit or debit transaction fails, the customer will be contacted immediately to provide an alternate payment method. Services or account access may be paused until payment is resolved. -
Electronic Payment Errors:
Payments made through online or mobile platforms that fail to process must be corrected within 24 hours of notification. -
Future Payment Restrictions:
Customers with a history of returned or failed payments may be required to pay by certified funds, cash, or card only.

Delinquent Accounts
-
Past Due Balances:
Commercial Accounts - Invoices not paid within the stated terms (typically 15 days from the invoice date unless otherwise stated) will be considered delinquent. -
Late Fees:
A late payment fee of 10% of the outstanding balance may be added every 15 days that the account remains unpaid. -
Service Suspension:
Ongoing or scheduled services may be suspended until payment is received in full. -
Collection Action:
Accounts unpaid after 30 days may be referred to a collection agency or pursued through small claims or legal channels. -
Recovery Costs:
Customers are responsible for any additional administrative or legal costs incurred during the recovery process, including attorney’s fees or court costs, when applicable.

Payment Resolution
-
Customers are encouraged to contact Mongold Junk Removal immediately if payment issues arise to arrange a prompt resolution or payment plan when appropriate.
-
Payment arrangements must be approved in writing by management before any adjustments are made to due dates or service continuation.
-
Once a balance is paid in full, future services may resume according to standard payment terms.

Customer Communication
-
Customers with a returned or delinquent payment will receive a written notice or invoice update specifying the balance due and any related fees.
-
If no response is received within 5 business days, a final notice will be issued before the account is escalated to collections or legal review.
-
Customers are responsible for keeping billing and contact information current to avoid missed communications or additional fees.
