Battery Policy

Purpose and Importance

The Battery Policy defines Mongold Junk Removal’s procedures for the safe handling, transport, and recycling of batteries. Batteries contain chemicals and metals that require special care to prevent fire, chemical leaks, or environmental contamination.

This policy ensures full compliance with environmental and safety standards while promoting responsible recycling practices for all customers.

Policy Statement

Mongold Junk Removal accepts most common household and rechargeable batteries for proper recycling. All batteries must be packaged safely and disclosed prior to collection. While most rechargeable and sealed batteries are recycled at no additional cost, standard household batteries incur a per-pound fee to cover processing and recycling costs. Our company partners exclusively with certified facilities to ensure that all materials are managed responsibly and kept out of landfills.
